The Original Yardbirds Story:
The first Yardbird was created in Kentucky by Rich Kolb in August, 1991. All birds, critters, dogs and cats are still hand-crafted in Kentucky. Yardbirds are made from scraps, seconds, overruns and discontinued auto, bicycle, and garden parts. Yardbirds promises to maintain our tradition of consistently creating exciting new designs.
