Our New Website

Here’s my daughter as a grown up, preferring to be upside down instead of designing my website

We are launching our new website and I’m excited about it. My daughter will turn thirty this year, but when she was thirteen years old she told me she was assigned making a website in school, and asked if she could make one for the store. I said of course, and we have used her website all of these years. As wonderful as that was, it is starting to look dated, and we hired Vestor Logic to help us make this new one. The new one is so beautiful, and it is set up so that I can change things on it myself and not have to hire someone who can use html to do everything on it. We’re hoping eventually to have it be a mail order site as well.

This summer, we’re so busy with retail in the store, it would be too hard to keep up with mail order and postings for now. So I’m going to wait. And also, I’m a lousy photographer, so I have to grapple with that. I’m the kind of person that naturally puts a finger in front of the lens. And my sixty three year old eyes have trouble telling if everything is in focus.

New firing

So please have a slightly forgiving eye when you look at photos that I put up on the website. Just remember, I can always send you MORE pictures. I think if I send you enough pictures and side views etc. maybe you can tell how fabulous a piece is. Also know that any time you can call or write us and ask to see photos of specific things. And you can write or call just to keep in touch as well.
